I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road? Does self-realization have to be painful? Why can’t our process of remembering be a delicious deep dive into magical creation, greater levels of love, curiosity, abundance, beauty, well-being and oneness? How can I dazzle others towards their own divine demonstration and support their fullest expression-in service to their light? I am giving myself permission to view life from a playful and sass filled perspective. From a neutral observer approach, we can begin to shift above judgment and allow a deeper understanding of our human potential without entangling in fixed conclusions, limited perspectives, shame/blame, right/wrong. ![]() What levels of consciousness are we creating from? What excites us and what tears at our heartstrings? Why is pain sometimes exquisite and ease anticlimactic? One of the things that I am passionate about, is compassionately looking at the stories we tell ourselves and how that informs who we are being and what we are choosing. To me, art is an activation and an invitation into creation itself. Growing up in Southern California, I wondered about the parts of the world beyond sun tans, fabulous weather and orange groves. I would fantasize about my genetic makeup and my lineage. It allows me to embrace lower aspects of the individual and collective self-or the shadow- and lovingly integrate and alchemize those aspects. Artistic expression for me, is a portal into greater dimensions of awareness and truth. To express and experience a spectrum of emotions and feelings and explore greater potentials and possibilities. How did I fit in? Am I supposed to fit in? What am I here to create, who am I here to ‘be’, and can that shift and change as I free myself from the stories I tell myself? This is what drew me to acting and multiple forms of storytelling and artistic expression. As someone who is adopted, I had an insatiable curiosity about life, identity, and purpose. I am creating myself every day and asking how I can be of the greatest service to my gifts/talents and offer that to the collective. I prefer to reflect on who I AM in the spaces and places beyond the story! You’ll have to excuse my spiritual sass. Ooh, this feels like a juicy question! I am not my stories. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory. Hi Megan, thanks for sharing your story with us. Try it with roasted salmon or a summer salad of arugula, beets and herbed ricotta. ![]() Whether you like to drink it alone or with food, Rosé is an extremely versatile wine. The palate has Gala apple, red raspberry, guava, and fresh-picked strawberries with a light cream finish alongside a lovely minerality.” “This wine has rose petals, strawberry, and guava purée on the nose. ![]() The recently released 2019 vintage was best described by Washington Wine Blog in their article, “2020 Pacific Northwest Rosé Report”. It was named Washington Rosé of the Year in 2018. From vintage to vintage, Gilles strives to accomplish an eye-catching, orange-strawberry color and a long, dry finish on the palate. In 2014, Allen, Dane and Gilles decided to set aside a block of Pinot Gris grapes located on The Benches Vineyard in the Columbia Valley to create a special wine reminiscent of the style Gilles grew up with in Provence, France. Crafted by head of winemaking and viticulture, Gilles Nicault, it’s a family wine that truly represents Julia wholeheartedly from the name to the very last sip. The name Julia comes from Long Shadows Vintners founder Allen Shoup's granddaughter, who is also the daughter of president, Dane Narbaitz. Not only is this Washington Rosé dazzling with flavor and personality, it’s loved by many and appropriate for just about every occasion. Lively, aromatic, and elegant are three words we keep top of mind when it comes to creating Julia's Dazzle Rosé.
